Most of the relationship problems are owing to difference of opinion or overlooking the other person’s objectives in life. A counselor is a professional and though there are differences or blame game associated in relations they have an impartial view wherein they refuse to take sides. Constant reinforcement of the presence of love, kindness and the need to retain effective communication is the service of the counselor. Often people approach the counselor for minor miscommunication whereas certain couples have acute problems related to illness, depression and other personal relationship problems.

Narrowing down the difference is the joint effort of the counselor and couples. Several communities and religions offer free counseling to guide relationships towards better communication.
